Before a Kalanchoe lill make buds, it must be exposed to a series of long, sunny days followed by at least 4 weeks of short days, less than 12 hours long. Keep it in a room where no lights are used at night or cover the plants with a box for 14 h each night.

Prune the first stock after blooming and once it begins to wither if you want to prepare your plant for another blossoming cycle.
